Cowan Insurance Group, a leading Canadian insurance brokerage and consulting firm, today announced the appointment of Moe Renaud to the role of Vice President, Operations and Product Development, Group Benefits, effective November 29, 2019.
As Vice President, Operations and Product Development, Group Benefits, Moe will be accountable for managing market relationships and the delivery of exceptional client experience across the Group Benefits Division. Fluent in both English and French, Moe will be based out of Cowan Insurance Group’s Ottawa office.

With over 20 years experience in sales management, and strategy development, Moe is an established leader within the Group Benefits and Insurance industries, most recently with a global consulting firm. A frequent speaker at industry events, his experience includes the development and execution of national sales and growth strategies across multiple market segments, as well as accountability for business operations.
Moe has earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Telfer School of Business through the University of Ottawa and holds CEBS (Certified Employee Benefits Specialist) designation from Dalhousie University. Moe also has obtained his Life License through the Financial Services Commission of Ontario (FSCO).
