Cambridge, ON | May 25, 2021 - Cowan Insurance Group Ltd. is pleased to announce the appointment of Janet Peddigrew to the position of President, Cowan Insurance Group effective immediately.
Janet joined Cowan in 2019 as VP, Cowan Private Client and Wealth and then expanded her accountabilities to include Personal and Commercial Operations as well as Pension and Retirement Consulting. A proven leader with a reputation for building strong teams and driving profitable growth, Janet has also led several significant initiatives across our operations as a member of the Company’s Executive Leadership team.
Janet joined Cowan after 35 years of financial services experience specializing in Personal and Commercial Banking as well as Wealth Management. Janet holds a Master of Business Administration from Dalhousie University and is a graduate of the Advanced Leadership Program from the Rotman School of Management Executive Program. Janet is passionate about giving back to her community and has been, and continues to be, involved with several not-for-profit organizations. “I am excited about the opportunity to contribute to our continued growth.
